MetroPCS is preparing for a strong back-to-school season, or at least their leaked roadmap suggests so. The carrier, which isn’t exactly known for its high-end portfolio, will join the Galaxy S III game, currently “played” by Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular. MetroPCS will start selling Sammy’s superphone at some point in the fourth quarter (“after September and before December”). In addition, they will also add few other phones to the portfolio, including:

  • Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G – on August 8
  • Coolpad Quattro 4G – coming on August 22 with LTE, 4-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz CPU, 5-megapixel camera and Gingerbread
  • LG Motion 4G – coming on August 29
  • ZTE Anthem – August 29
  • Huawei Verge
  • Huawei Pinnacle 2 – coming in early September
  • Samsung Contour 2 – mid-September release date

And that’s all we have at the moment. As soon as we get any additional detail, you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
