Windows Phone is set to receive another official app in its Marketplace. The Times, a wildly popular United Kingdom publication, has just made its official application live today. Not only is the application’s design nice, it will treat users to free content from the daily paper and the Sunday Times for free (if you have a paid subscription).
The Times of London takes a page right from how the New York Times app does things. Both publications let you try out its services for 30 days, and of course, once those days come to an end you will need a subscription to continue the service. When you download the Times on your Windows Phone you’ll get standard features you’d see in most news apps, like Top Stories, Features, Opinion, and Video. Moreover, the folks over at The Times of London, claim it’ll update its mobile application 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Perfect for you newsy people out there (hah, see what I did there?). Once you download it expect to see Metro-style design at your fingertips.
If you want the Times newspaper and Sunday Times app, head over to the Windows Phone Marketplace right here.
