Earlier this week Bank of America customers on iOS were treated with an update on its mobile application, now it’s time for Chase to do the same. Chase bank updated its official app on Android to version 2.7. The new update ushers in a number of interesting features such as the ability to scroll through up to 24 months of transactions related to Chase deposit accounts.
Furthermore, Chase customers can take advantage of new functionality that allows users who are Liquid (code for ATM card service) customers to navigate through their accounts. Now folks can view account info, transfer money to an account, and use Chase QuickDeposit. Customers can also view in-app notices for things like upcoming service outages and app functionality. Other noteworthy enhancements include an increased character limit for Pay Bills’ and Chase QuickPay’s amount fields, followed by the usual improvements to performance (in other words, bug fixes).
To be honest, I don’t know why seeing your transaction history as far back as two years on your mobile phone such a big deal. Really, is it necessary?
Anyway, if you don’t have the app, make sure you head over to the Google Play link to grab the latest addition of Chase Mobile.
