There are a number of different backup tools out there and it’s not easy to pick the one that works for you. Recently I stumbled upon Clickfree and instantly fell in love. And no – they don’t pay me to write about them.

What I like about this solution is that it’s super easy to use and can work with a number of cloud storage services, including Dropbox, Box, SkyDrive, Google Drive and SugarSync. Moreover, for added safety — or if you want to copy all your data from one device to the other — you can backup to an SD card and quickly restore the data on some other device.

To get started, just tap the big-ass “Backup Now” button and you’re good to go. You’ll have to select which service you want to use (or save everything on an SD card) but that’s a one-time effort. Clickfree can backup your photos, music, videos, documents, apps, contacts, calendars and bookmarks — and more importantly, promptly restore them when needed.

There’s also the auto-back feature (which I don’t need), as well as photo viewer and the ability to see all backed up items based on how much space they occupy…
