Today Acer is made available a budget friendly handset known as the Liquid Glow, set to go on sale in the United Kingdom. We first got word of this phone’s existence when it appeared at this year’s Mobile World Congress. The phone will set U.K. customers back £147.99 ($181.78 USD), and will offer color choices of black or white. Spec-wise the Liquid Glow won’t set the world on fire, but folks overseas can expect would seem to be an unskinned Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) experience straight out of the box.

Acer’s Liquid Glow sports a 3.7-inch display at 480×800, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, NFC, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB RAM along with a pathetic 1GB of onboard storage, but there is a microSD card slot to help expand that memory. This is clearly a lower end phone that we don’t expect to see hit our shores anytime soon.
