It seems Microsoft will release the Windows Phone 8 SDK on September 7th, just before its developer conference in Australia, which goes from September 11th to 14th. Needless to say, part of the conference will “deal” with Microsoft’s mobile platform so we guess that companies and individuals attending the show will be the first ones to experience how it feels to make apps and games for the new version of Windows Phone.
Coincidentally, Nokia has something new to announce few days before (September 5) and we think this could easily be the first Windows Phone 8 device, or even better – more of them. After all, it only makes sense to build apps for the platform that actually runs on existing phones.
Can’t wait for the day when many of us believe the Redmond company will finally launch a platform that can take on iOS and Android. We could certainly benefit from increased competition…
