Samsung announced that its Galaxy S Duos will be hitting the United Kingdom soon. The Duos is a mid-range phone that packs some decent specs such as a 4-inch display, dual-SIM capabilities, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 CPU, 512MB of RAM that’ll be running Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). Moreover, the handset also carries 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for an expandable option, 1500mAh battery, 5MP rear camera and the same custom user interface as the Galaxy S III: TouchWiz Nature UX.
The standout a feature on the Galaxy S Duos is the dual-SIM, as it allows users to have both SIMs active at the same time. With both SIM cards running, customers get the super-convenience of receiving calls through either line. Not bad, huh? We shouldn’t have to stress how cool this phone is for those who love to travel. Having multiple SIMs in the same phone without the inconvenience of popping one in and out all the time is respected.
Unfortunately, Sammy was mum on details when it came to price and an official release date, but we’re sure we’ll hear more about the Duos once IFA in Berlin kicks off.
