Information obtained by SamMobile suggests the next Galaxy Nexus GT-I9260 will be a small improvement over the current model. The next Nexus is rumored to include a faster 1.5 dual-core A9 processor, an improved 8-megapixel rear camera and slightly better 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. The rest of the specs are the same as the current version of the Galaxy Nexus.

Of course, this is all rumor and innuendo until Google unveils its new lineup of Nexus devices. Current rumors are all over the place with some suggesting LG will make a Nexus device and others claiming Google will use Motorola’s expertise and the help of its partners to push out five devices on the fifth anniversary of Android.

We have our own thoughts on what Google may do with the next Nexus device. Chime in with your opinions in the comments
