After much speculation, Google confirmed today that it will soon offer Google Play gift cards. The cards will be available in $10, $25 and $50 denominations and will go on sale at Target, RadioShack and GameStop in the upcoming weeks. They will also land in Wal-Mart later at the end of August. Customers who buy a gift card can apply it to their Google play account and use it to buy apps, movies, music and books. It’ll even work with in-app purchases. You can read more about the cards on Google’s website.
