Skype for iOS has been updated today, making it easier to share pictures with your Skype contacts. While photo sharing services are abundant on the App Store, the Skype update will certainly be a welcome one to those who rely on Skype for communicating with friends and family. Users can now share photos of any size with their Skype contacts from within the mobile application.

The update also brings several performance enhancements which reduce both loading times and battery drain when using Skype, as well as various other fixes and enhancements behind the scenes. The update is available now on the App Store for iOS 4.3 and above.
