Motorola has recently started rolling out Ice Cream Sandwich updates for the international RAZR and RAZR MAXX smartphones but that doesn’t mean all users got it at the same time. Quite the contrary, the majority is still waiting to get the new software with select Brits receiving it as we speak. That “select” group of people includes O2 users as well as owners of the unlocked RAZR and RAZR MAXX.
Along with new Android 4.0 features like Face Unlock, improved voice control and Direct Access Lock System, there also some Moto-specific tweaks included, making sure the device feels faster and more stable after the update.
To proceed, hop over to “Settings,” then “About phone” and then find your way to the software updates from there. Make sure your battery is fully charged and that you’re connected to fast Wi-Fi hotspot to make things run smoothly.
