A reliable industry source told Android Police that T-Mobile is already discontinuing the device a few weeks after it started selling the tablet. T-Mobile supposedly set a tentative EOL date of November 1st, but that date may change depending on how fast T-Mobile can sell throughout its standing inventory.
A second contradictory report from Business Insider claims T-Mobile is not axing the device. The device is merely out of stock online, but it is still available in stores. The carrier said in a statement,
“The Samsung Galaxy Note is currently out of stock online via www.t-mobile.com however the device is still available for purchase at select T-Mobile retail stores.”
T-Mobile started the selling the phone-tablet a few weeks ago, but many people questioned this decision as the Note is a comparatively older device. Samsung is rumored to be prepping the Note 2 and may possibly unveil the device during its Mobile Unpacked event at IFA, which is taking place at the end of August in Berlin.
