The rumor is that Google will finally bring the Nexus 7 to continental Europe, with Germany being among the first countries to get the 7-inch tablet. According to AndroidNext, which got an information from a Saturn employee, the world’s first Jelly Bean tablet will start selling on September 3rd. Saturn, for those of you wondering, is Germany’s electronics retail chain.
When it comes to the price, we’re hearing that a 16GB model will go for 249 EUR though that could still change, with promotions potentially bringing the price down.
Needless to say we’ll try our best to follow Nexus 7’s expansion to the rest of the world and get back to you as soon as we hear anything new on that front. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
UPDATE: Telecompaper claims that Nexus 7 will also hit other European countries on September 3rd. Cool. 😉
