The rumor is that HTC will announce the HTC Desire X aka Proto at IFA in Berlin. Just before that happens folks of ePrice caught the device in the wild and decided to share the photos with the world. As you can see from the image above, this fella’ sports an edge-to-edge screen making for an awesome look and feel. However, it’s not a high-end device and will rather be catered toward first-time smartphone buyers and/or those unwilling to get into expensive contracts to get the HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S III. Specs wise, the Desire X comes with a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, 1GHz processor and Beats Audio. Not sure we like it that much now, but hey – we’re geeks and we want the best gear money can buy. What about you? Do you like the HTC Proto or would rather pay more and get something better?
