We have the rising pile of evidence suggesting that Samsung Stratosphere 2 and LG Spectrum 2 will soon land on Verizon Wireless. LG’s baby in particular has been leaked few times in the past and now we have another shot from the carrier’s Equipment Guide to prove the claim. It is said that the Spectrum 2 will sport Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 SoC, 1GB of RAM, HD screen and an 8-megapixel camera.

As for the successor to the Samsung Stratosphere, it too may come with the Snapdragon S4, as well as 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, LTE connectivity support, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, GPS and so on.

Unfortunately we still don’t know the exact release date(s) for either of the two phones. I would expect Verizon to announce them in the next few weeks but you never know. We’ll get back to you as soon as we hear something new on this. Stay tuned…
