It’s amazing how yesterday’s hot hardware becomes cheap so fast. Take the Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition for instance. It was announced less than a year ago and its price is already heavy slashed, with Expansys offering the Wi-Fi only 16GB model for 149 GBP. In U.S. dollars that translates into $235, making for quite a deal.
If you recall, we’re talking about a smaller XOOM 2 tablet, one that rocks an 8.2-inch screen while the rest of the specs remain the same (when compared with the 10.1-inch version). That means dual-core processor, dual cameras, Bluetooth, memory card slot and so on. Pretty sweet though unfortunately it still runs Android Honeycomb with Ice Cream Sandwich update set to be released in the near future.
You can check out this XOOM 2 Media Edition deal from this page at Expansys’ website.
