Samsung UK is running a neat campaign, offering free Galaxy Tab 2 to users who have either purchased or plan to purchase the new Galaxy S III or (existing) Galaxy Note. As part of the deal, you’ll also have to send them your old phone, which can be either the Galaxy S II or iPhone 4/4S. That kinda kills the deal for many folks except those upgrading from Galaxy S II to Galaxy S III. Then again, we can’t say the Galaxy Tab 2 is exactly the tablet we would buy these days. It was a cool device when it was announced but by today’s standards, it’s rather mediocre product that (obviously) doesn’t have a quad-core processor. I’m about to get myself the Galaxy S III and I’m not sure I would give away my Galaxy S II for that particular tablet. What about you – how do you like this offer?

If you do like it, make sure to act fast as this offer is valid until September 10th. You can get more details from this page at Samsung UK’s website.
