Almost missed this, but we’re going with it even we’re late a bit. Huawei unveiled a new mid-to-high end device last week – Ascend G600, which packs quite a bang for the buck — though we’re not really sure how much it will cost. Then again, we do know Ascend for their “value for money” proposition and it’s safe to assume this little big fella’ will be more affordable than its closest competitors coming from the companies like HTC and Samsung.
Specs wise, the Ascend G600 sports a large 4.5-inch IPS qHD (540×960 pixels) touchscreen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel BSI camera, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, double speakers with DTS surround sound, NFC, GPS, DLNA, Bluetooth and a solid 1930mAh Li-Polymer battery. Of course, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show.
When it comes to availability, the HUAWEI Ascend G600 will start selling in selected markets from September 2012. Price, as we’ve told you, wasn’t unveiled…
