HTC announces event on September 19th, Windows Phone 8 devices incoming?

HTC has begun sending out invitations to an event that will take place on September 19th in New York City. There’s little to go on in the event notices themselves, but Brad Molen of Engadget suggests that the event could be Windows Phone related instead of the Android-based follow-up to the HTC One series. Previous reports have suggested that HTC was prepping a trio of Windows Phone 8 devices, targeting all ends of the Windows Phone Market.

Recent reports have suggested that at least one of the devices would come with Beats Audio integration, though HTC’s Beats integration to date have been less than stellar. Still, HTC’s One series of devices were some of the best Android devices to date, and we’re excited to see what HTC has put together for Windows Phone 8 later this month.
