Verizon is having quite the busy morning with the announcement of the LG Intuition and now the Samsung Galaxy Stellar. We had an idea that the Galaxy Stellar would get official soon, especially since the handset started landing in Best Buy stores a week ago.

The phone will be hitting Big Red’s stores this Thursday with a $50 price tag (before a $50 mail-in rebate). The Stellar sports a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon, Ice Cream Sandwich (Android), LTE connectivity, a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.3-megapixel camera up front and an autofocus-capable 3.2-megapixel snapper on the rear.

This is just another good choice for those looking to get their feet wet in smartphones, and the fact that it’s a cheap LTE device isn’t so bad either.
