At the HTC Frequencies Event in New York yesterday, a mysterious device was making its way around the floor. Turns out, HTC produced a limited supply of a Cushnie et Ochs edition of the HTC One X. The Cushnie et Ochs One X is identical in every way to the AT&T One X variant, but sheds the white back panel for a two-toned black and white chassis around the body of the device. The black and white hardware styling is matched with an HTC Scene which contains a similar two-toned styling that goes with you on each home screen in the Sense UI.
The device was manufactured specifically for the New York Fashion Week, and will be gifted to select models and celebrities over the course of the week. Those of us commonfolk looking to get our hands on the Cushnie et Ochs One X are out of luck, as the phone will never make its way to AT&T’s stores. It’s too bad, too, as I’m really digging the two-toned styling, and it is sure to stand out in a crowd. Here’s hoping HTC brings their design stylings to future devices.
