T-Mobile will be adding a new Samsung-made Android smartphone to its portfolio. The Galaxy S Relay 4G is a side-slider with 5-row keyboard and 4-inch Super AMOLED screen. In addition, it also has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, support for HSPA+ 42Mbps connectivity, while Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S3 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz provides all the processing power needed to run things smoothly. As expected, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show out of box.
It’s also worth adding that the Galaxy S Relay 4G is a SAFE (Samsung Approved for Enterprise) device, offering a portfolio of enterprise-ready features and capabilities, including IT Policy support for mobile device management (MDM) solutions, on-device AES-256 bit encryption, enhanced support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and integrated support for a range of VPNs.
The Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is expected to be available soon. Price was not unveiled.
