As many big companies, Canada’s TELUS is involved in the wider community by donating a portion of its profits to good causes. Over the years, they’ve been huge supporters of breast cancer research, and now they’ve extended their relationship with Free The Children to become a National Co-Title of the “We Day” initiatives.
Under the five-year-long agreement, TELUS will donate a total of $750,000 from a few customer initiatives. The first such deal will see the carrier handing out $25 from every purchase of the Samsungand Samsung Ace Q. Next year the devices will be different with the monetary amount staying the same… So if you needed another reason to get the III – now you have it.
And for the record, TELUS has been partnering with the Free The Children organization since 2006 and have given them over $3 million thus far.
