As many big companies, Canada’s TELUS is involved in the wider community by donating a portion of its profits to good causes. Over the years, they’ve been huge supporters of breast cancer research, and now they’ve extended their relationship with Free The Children to become a National Co-Title of the “We Day” initiatives.
Under the five-year-long agreement, TELUS will donate a total of $750,000 from a few customer initiatives. The first such deal will see the carrier handing out $25 from every purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Ace Q. Next year the devices will be different with the monetary amount staying the same… So if you needed another reason to get the Galaxy S III – now you have it.
And for the record, TELUS has been partnering with the Free The Children organization since 2006 and have given them over $3 million thus far.
