The windowsmania.pl forum admin posted photos and a video of the Nokia Lumia 800 running Windows Phone 7.8, which (as we described before) will bring many of the Windows Phone 8 features to the existing Lumia Windows Phone 7 devices.
According to a thread at windowsmania.pl, this is the real deal though we can’t see any new features aside from the improved start screen. But when you think about it, many other things relate to under the hood changes, allowing users to share files and contacts via Bluetooth and take photos with the improved Camera app.
We still don’t know when exactly the existing Lumia owners will get these goodies but considering that the software is already available to some users, guess that will happen sooner rather than later. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
