Google announced that more than 600 new Twentieth Century Fox movies and TV shows will soon be available for rent and purchase from Google Play and YouTube. Fox’s new release Prometheus in HD is already out on the store, three weeks ahead of the Blu-ray, DVD and video-on-demand release. During the next few weeks, even more titles will join the parade, including X-Men, Ice Age and Black Swan, as well as TV shows like “Glee,” “Family Guy,” “Modern Family,” “New Girl” and many more. These new titles will be available first in the U.S., with other countries to follow soon afterwards.
