Samsung is apparently testing version of the Galaxy S III with TIZEN OS or at least such a device has been caught while getting Wi-Fi certification. We’ve no idea what the Korean company is up to but are always looking forward for more competition.

If you recall, Samsung decided to merge its Bada platform into Tizen and vowed to bring first devices running the new OS next year. The Galaxy S III would certainly make a flagship product of any platform and we do hope to see the new phone unveiled either at CES in Las Vegas or Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Stay tuned as we bring you more…

I am definitely excited to see this. I’ve been waiting to see the first real Tizen device be released. I wonder if it’ll be possible for the android developers to make a port of Tizen for the current Galaxy s3′s. That’ll be interesting :)
