We’ve already told you that Huawei will join the Windows Phone craze with the Ascend W1. Now we’re hearing the Chinese company will unveil not one but multiple devices running Microsoft’s mobile platform. From what we’ve learned, the W1 won’t be Huawei’s flagship smartphone with that title being reserved for the W2, which will take on Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Ativ S and HTC 8X. The W1, on the other hand, will be a mid-range offering, competing with likes of Nokia Lumia 820 and HTC 8S.
Huawei will announce its Windows Phone portfolio on September 25th when we’ll get back to you with more information. The chances are the company will also show some Windows RT tablet, which could easily emerge into one of the most affordable options on the market. Stay tuned as we bring you more…
