For one reason or another, Motorola forgot about the DROID Bionic, which at one point was the company’s flagship smartphone. It promised to release the Ice Cream Sandwich update in early Q3, but as we know it – nothing happened.
Now Moto’s Punit Soni spoke out, trying to work things out with the Bionic owners. Here’s what he said on Google+:
We have a plan for Bionic. I am currently solidifying things to ensure we can publish it, commit and follow up. I think you guys have gotten a raw deal and we could do way better. But you are one of the top few things I worry about when I look at upgrades.
Nothing too precise but then again, better something than nothing. Hopefully, the Android 4.0 firmware will be released in the near future, followed shortly by the Jelly Bean update. After such a long wait, it’s the least Motorola can do for its customer, right?
