Regional wireless carrier Cellcom announced that it will start selling the iPhone 5 on Friday, September 28. To compete with the bigger carriers, Wisconsin-based  Cellcom has chopped $50 off the price of the iPhone 5 and will sell the 16 GB model for $149, the 32 GB for $249 and the 64 GB for $349, each with a two-year customer agreement.

Customers can choose from an individual or family voice and data plan, with the lowest plan starting at an affordable $70 monthly for unlimited texting, 200 calling minutes and 2GB of 3G data. Besides the iPhone 5, Cellcom is also selling the iPhone 4S for $49 and the iPhone 4 for free.
