Samsung’s Android-powered Galaxy Camera has been caught at the FCC and the good news is that it comes with HSPA radio that can sing along AT&T’s 3G network. Sadly LTE is not included which is something you’ll be missing if you want to share big-ass photos (16-megapixel) sans any wires — HSPA+ is fast, but just knowing there’s something faster is kinda annoying. Then again, you may want to first select the photos on your computer and later on decide which of them deserve a place on your Facebook wall or something. In any case, you can always use Wi-Fi to beam a bunch of photos faster.

The Android-powered camera is sure a novelty, but we’re not sure it has such a big audience. As far as we know, it will be an expensive gadget and we’re not sure everyone digs the idea – you’re perhaps better off taking a solid camera for that money while using your smartphone for occasional shots. What do you think?
