Facebook has passed the 1 billion customer landmark, 600 million of which visit the mobile website at least once per month.
Impressive figures, no doubts about it and here’s what Mark Zuckerberg had to say about it: “Helping a billion people connect is amazing, humbling and by far the thing I am most proud of in my life.”
Aside from unveiling the big number, Facebook also shared some other stats. For instance, it now drives 170 million referrals to Apple’s App Store and Google Play every month, while 55% of the top 40 grossing iOS apps are integrated with Facebook.
That’s all cool but Facebook investors are still yelling “show me the money” as the company still trying to can generate meaningful revenues from its customer base…
