We do expect to see Motorola rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its solid mid-range device, DROID RAZR M. Thanks to the new firmware leak, we tend to believe that the new software will be released sooner rather than later.
As with any leak, this isn’t the official way to cram the latest version of Android to your smartphone, but those of you willing to experiment are free to do so. Bear in mind that actions like these could void your warranty and that you can’t hold IntoMobile or any of its employees responsible if something goes wrong.
Ready?
If that’s the case, download this file, rename it to “update.zip”, copy it to the root of your microSD card, reboot into recovery and tap on “install update.zip”. Your RAZR M doesn’t have to be rooted to make this work.
