KDDI gets its version of Samsung Galaxy S III though it’s not as nearly as cool as Docomo’s

Few days ago we’ve told you about the special Samsung Galaxy S III model NTT Docomo will offer (Galaxy S III Alpha) and now KDDI got its own version of the device. Unfortunately it’s not as nearly as cool as Docomo’s Galaxy S III – KDDI’s Galaxy S III Progre (SCL21) supports LTE connectivity but it doesn’t have a quad-core processor. Rather, it uses Qualcomm’s MSM8960 1.5GHz dual-core CPU like models sold in the U.S. Rest of the specs include 2GB of RAM, the same 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing one, 32GB of built-in memory, NFC, GPS, support for 1Seg mobile TV and 2100mAh battery.
