Google Wallet’s official Twitter account just confirmed that it’ll bring support to MetroPCS’ Samsung Galaxy S III. Now the small regional carrier’s GSIII will finally get Google’s NFC (Near Field Communication) payment system that let’s you checkout at the register with just your phone. Customers can go to the Google Play Store and download the application, and it can be used at major retailers such as Macy’s, McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, etc.
It’s good to see more devices gain Google Wallet compatibility, as it’s a really awesome service to use. Unfortunately, most people don’t get to try the NFC platform because of phone or carrier limitations.
