U.S. will be primary launch market for HTC’s new Windows Phones, 8X and 8S, with Verizon Wireless unveiling the 8X model on November 12th. The rest of the world will have to wait for another week, as two HTC devices got international release date of November 20th. Guess we’ll have to blame Microsoft (rather than HTC) for this…
Anyway, we’re hearing that the unlocked HTC 8S will go for around 300 EUR ($390), while the more powerful 8X will be available for 500-550 EUR ($645-$710).
That, of course, is the launch price that will undoubtedly go south within just a few months. Moreover, I would expect European operators to offer both the HTC 8S and 8X for free to anyone willing to put a signature on a new two-year contract. We’ll let you know if/when we spot some cool deal. Stay tuned in the meantime…

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
