O2 is the first operator in the UK to sell the hot-new Nexus 4. The carrier will start offering the latest Google phone starting November 13, giving it away for free to people willing to sign a two-year contract with plans of 36 GBP per month or higher. That’s kinda steep when we know that unlocked Nexus 4 will sell for 239 GBP (8GB model) and 279 GBP (16GB).
To further sweeten the deal and get some media love along the way, the company will organize a special launch event at “The O2 store” in London, allowing first 50 people in the queue to win a free 32-inch flatscreen TV. In addition, the same gift will be offered to select customers ordering the phone online. You can get all the details from this page at O2′s website…
Again, the Nexus 4 is the latest member of the Nexus family, packing a 4.7-inch 720p screen, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, 8 or 16 GB of built-in storage, 2GB of RAM and so on.
