Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy Note II updated with Multi Window View, few bug fixes

Sprint and Samsung are launching a firmware update for the Galaxy Note II. It’s a small, maintenance release that most notably adds Multi Window View feature so you can run two apps on the screen at the same time.

In addition, emails will now go to Outbox when in no coverage area or airplane mode, and text message notification beep while in a voice call.

Finally, corporate device administrators can now default GPS lock settings if they fancy so.

As usual, these sort of updates are released in stages – and if you didn’t receive a notification on your device immediately, please check back later. Make sure your battery is charged to at least 50% before proceeding…
