Huawei has found a partner to bring its flagship device, Huawei Ascend D1 Quad XL, to Canada. It’s WIND, which will apparently start offering the powerful smartphone during this holiday season. We say “apparently” since we haven’t caught the official press release from neither WIND nor Huawei, and all we have is the leaked flyer to “prove” the rumor.
Price is also unknown, but MobileSyrup thinks that the folks looking to grab the Ascend D1 Quad XL sans any commitments will have to pour out between $450 and $500.
Announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei’s baby packs the company’s own 1.4GHz quad-core CPU, 4.5-inch 720p HD screen, dual cameras (8MP on the back, 1.3MP front-facing one), 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage.

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
