Apple announced that it has reached an agreement with HTC that will end current patent litigation. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the pair did sign a ten-year licensing agreement that extends to current and future patents held by both parties. Both Apple’s CEO Tim Cook and HTC’s CEO Peter Chou were pleased with the agreement and look forward to focusing on innovation, instead of litigation.
