It’s becoming a tradition that Virgin Mobile picks up Sprint’s old devices. That was the case with the HTC Evo 3D and now Samsung Galaxy S2 (Epic 4G Touch) is following suit. The rumor is that Virgin will sell Sammy’s last year’s flagship device for $369.99 without a contract. The phone will be available in both silver and white from November 15th, with carrier pushing its “Beyond Talk” plans with the phone purchase.
We don’t expect any changes under the hood except for a different logo on the back of the phone. If there were no for Nexus 4, we would advise getting the Galaxy S2 in such an arrangement (for folks who don’t want to commit to expensive contracts), but with the new Google phone costing even less, we say grab the new Nexus, instead.
