HTC has started rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for its One X smartphone, with users in India, Argentina, UK, Russia, Dominican Republic, Peru, Brazil and Sri Lanka getting it as we speak. However, that doesn’t mean every single One X owner in the countries listed above will get the new firmware on the same day — quite the contrary, these kind of updates are usually rolled out in stages. So if your friend got it that doesn’t mean you’ll get it on the same day (or same week, for that matter). Just in case, you can manually check for updates by firing up Settings -> About -> Software updates and check from there.

The reports we’ve got say that initially you’ll receive a small 1.6MB file which will be followed by a massive 364.54MB download that actually brings the latest version of Android to your HTC One X. Hopefully, you’ll find that update soon (if you still haven’t got it) and enjoy all the features Jelly Bean brings to the table. ;)
