Etsy app now available in the Google Play Store

We have great news for all you hipsters and collectors of unique items. Etsy on its blog announced the availability of a new Android app just in time for shoppers ahead of Christmas Day. The app highlights the sites’ more than 17 million item marketplace, while also bringing options to easily browse all the shops or other members favorite items, then buy directly from the app.

What’s even better about this app is its styled with Google’s Holo theme, which helps add a smooth and responsive user experience that suits an app of this sort well. Nothing is more annoying to me than Android apps not developed without the Holo theme in mind. If you don’t have Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich; then you need not worry, as the new app will also work on those of you still on Gingerbread as well.

So if you’re still trying to get your hands on that case that resembles a Nintendo controller for your iPhone, then we recommend you to head over to the Google Play Store link here to download the new application to your handsets.

Who plans on doing some Holiday shopping on Etsy?
