Toshiba announced yet another Android tablet, Excite 10 SE, which comes with a 10.1-inch 1280×800 pixels touchscreen and which will be available later today for $349.99.
Specs wise, this device packs Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 3-megapixel camera on the back, HD front-facing camera, 16GB of built-in memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show. In addition, I would have to guess the Excite 10 SE also comes with 1GB of RAM and a solid battery — Toshiba failed to give us all the details in its press release.
Personally, I think this is a fair deal though you should know that $50 more gets you the Nexus 10, which may lack a memory expansion slot but its screen is much more superior that the one Toshiba’s latest tablet has. Plus, as a Nexus device it will be the first to get the latest Android updates, and that feature alone is worth 50 bucks in my book.
Anyway, if you want the Toshiba Excite 10 SE, you’ll be able to order it later today from ToshibaDirect.com…
