Motorola is sticking with its promise of keeping users informed about updates of the latest Android operating system hitting their phones. The Google owned company released some details on the progress of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean hitting the company’s phones and tablets. Now we’re not going to list all the devices because it’s a really long list. However, we decided to throw a few devices down below that we feel people care about more:

  • RAZR i Jelly Bean update now scheduled for Q1 2013
  • Droid Bionic will be upgraded to Jelly Bean (Android 4.1); no time-frame given
  • Verizon Droid RAZR HD/RAZR MAXX HD still due Jelly Bean update before 2013
  • Photon Q will be upgraded to Jelly Bean (Android 4.1); no time-frame given
  • AT&T Atrix HD due Jelly Bean update before 2013
  • 3G/LTE Xoom Jelly Bean update delayed to Q1 2013
  • Canadian Atrix HD + RAZR HD due to get Jelly Bean in Q1 2013
  • Euro RAZR HD Jelly Bean update scheduled for Dec. 2012
If you’re thinking of Android 4.2, then keep thinking because Motorola didn’t mention it at all. These dates sprinkled out by Motorola is subject to change, so don’t get your hopes up too high, as manufacturers tend to disappoint A LOT.
