If you’re in a lucky group of people who managed to get the hot-new Asus PadFone 2, you’ll be glad to learn that the Taiwanese company has started rolling out Android 4.1 update for your phone-tablet combo. In fact, the chances are you may’ve already got your serving of Jelly Beans, but if that hasn’t happen, here’s a reason to visit Settings and find your way to check for the software updates from there.

The new software keeps ASUS’ Android customizations while including all of the cool Jelly Bean goodies like Google Now, enhanced notifications, improved performance and so on. In other words, you’ll want to push the button as soon as you’re prompted to do so. Good luck! ;)

Do you think it will be updated to JB4.2+ and beyond ????

I am looking at this set (as I am ASUS fan, and so far so good) but I am not sure if will be updated to the next Android (5.0). Android is different stuff than Laptops, Netbooks, Routers, etc.hardware/software ASUS produces which are great.

Google Nexus 10 will be updated for sure and I can not decide.

ASUS is preparing the same tablet (if not greater) for 2013 BUT as I said “I DO NOT HAVE that believes about future upgrades/updates to the latest from Google as we all know for sure happen with GNEXUS brand.
