A month ago we’ve told you about the HTC One SV, a somewhat awkward device since the Taiwanese company has similar products like the One V and One S. Now it’s officially announced for Europe and will start selling from January in select markets, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, while the UK will get it in the next few weeks. Aside from the “standard” 3G (HSPA) model, an LTE version will also be released in markets where that makes sense.

Again, the One SV sports a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel BSI rear-facing camera, 1.6-megapixel front-facing one, Beats Audio technology, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD expansion slot. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will run the show out of box with Jelly Bean update coming soon afterwards. Unlocked, this smartphone will sell for 429 and 399 EUR, depending whether you’re buying an LTE-enabled model or not…
