The Blackberry 10 gold SDK release has revealed something interesting – RIM will integrate its latest platform with Evernote, the world’s most popular note-taking service. Evernote is placed as one of the so-called Notebook options listed under the “App Integration” heading, allowing users to organize “actionable and non-actionable items into separate folders or topics.” By taking advantage of this, users will be able to have their notes — whether they’re text, image, audio or video files — organized and synced up with the cloud so they [notes] can be accessed from anywhere and from any device.
Evernote on its end already supports BlackBerry but its mobile client for RIM’s platform is not on par with their iOS and Android offerings. Hopefully with the upcoming launch of BlackBerry 10, the situation will change and CrackBerry addicts will be able to join the party, big time. We’ll see…
