Sprint flips the LTE switch on in a handful of new markets

Big things are happening when it comes to the expansion of Long Term Evolution (LTE). Sprint announced today a few more cities that will receive coverage of its LTE network. Theses locations include the following:

  • Indianapolis/Carmel, Ind.
  • Santa Rosa/Petaluma, Calif.
  • Vallejo/Fairfield, Calif.
  • Southern Puerto Rico (including Ponce, Coamo and Guayama)
  • York/Hanover, Pa.
  • Franklin County, Pa.

In addition, The Now Network has also announced the metro area of Chicago along with Shenandoah County and Page County (Va.), should see enhanced LTE coverage.
