Good news for the Asus Transformer Prime owners as the company has started rolling out a small bug-fixing update to address several annoying issues users had with their beloved tablet. The update version 10.4.2.18 fixes several things, including:
- Issue with Spanish (US) and Dutch (Holland) characters that prevented typing of some characters correctly.
- Issue that “Show quoted text” in Gmail does not work in a mail thread that is with 2+ messages.
- Issue that the device connect with Wi-Fi hotspot that has Chinese character AP name (SSiD).
- Issue that the screen cannot resume to video playback but only audio playback after pressing power button when “Quick Launch” in Screen Saver settings is enabled.
- Polaris Office is upgraded to 3.5-build 5r16148FV06.
- Improved web page compatibility.
As usual with ASUS, this is an over-the-air update which you can start from “System” -> “About Tablet” -> “System update.”
