Canada’s TELUS is now offering the Samsung Galaxy Camera! Similarly to the version Verizon Wireless is selling, this one also supports LTE connectivity, allowing users to upload and share photos much faster (when compared to 3G versions). That’s a major plus considering that the camera has a 16-megapixel sensor that makes super-big images (and you want to beam them as fast as you can).
Aside from the rock-solid camera, the Galaxy Camera also has everything a comparable smartphone has, including the ability to install and run all apps and games from the Google Play Store. The only thing it lacks is the ability to make phone calls, though you can find your way around using some VoIP software.
So if you don’t mind spending $599 on an Android-powered digital camera, hop over to this page at TELUS’ website and take it from there.
